Locally, there are a number of farmers markets in the area, e.g. the Cazeres market 15 minutes away and the huge market in St Giron is only 30 minutes away. The supermarket "Super U" is an eight minute drive and there is a typical French butcher in the next village, five minutes away. The medieval town of Aurignac is 12 mins drive away. The Village Gaulois, great entertainment for kids, is also 20 mins drive away.

During the summer, it's a perfect area for those who enjoy cycling with many famous Cols within easy driving distance. Tour de France normally passes within an hours drive.
During the winter, there are a large number of ski resorts within 1-3 hours drive, with Baquiera (in Spain) being the largest, 90 minutes away. Snowshoeing can be done in many places within a 40 minutes drive and for ski touring, the possibilities are almost endless.
For those enjoying hiking or trail running, there are plenty of trails, not just in the mountains, but also locally in the village.
